What Have You Written Lately?

I'm asking this question of you, my reader. What have you written lately?

I'd really like to know. I'd like to follow along with whatever project you are working on or see any finished, published works.

Now is the time to toot your own horn and get some publicity. Add a link to anything you'd like.

I'll start. You can view my author page.

You can view my blog.

By clicking these links, you'll learn more about me as an author and what I like to write about on my blog. Some of it you may find interesting, and others you may find amusing.

So, now, it's your turn:

What have you written lately?

Thought for the Day

"It took me fifteen years to discover that I had no talent for writing, but I couldn't give it up because by that time I was too famous." -- Robert Benchley 1889 - 1945

What about Book Awards?

Does it make sense to submit your books for awards?

Absolutely!

When you do, and when you win, you can promote yourself as an "award winning author". What about that? It doesn't get any better, does it?

The Savvy Bookmarketer has a great article that you should read:

Book Awards and Writing Contests for Authors

Check it out and see if any interest you. Remember, most entry deadlines are around the first of the year. So, get cracking!

Thought for the Day

"A writer lives, at best, in a state of astonishment. Beneath any feeling he has of the good or the evil of the world lies a deeper one of wonder at it all. To transmit that feeling, he writes."

William Sansom 1926-1976
